I'm the founder of Beyond the Book Luxury Travel, an independent contractor with The Travel Gals, based in St. Louis, Missouri.
Before travel, I spent seven years as a teacher, then stayed home to raise my two boys. In 2014 I turned my love of planning unforgettable trips into a business, and I've never looked back. Teaching taught me how to listen, sweat the details and take care of people — the same skills I use every day as a travel advisor.
I specialize in two things I truly love: Hawaii, from sunrise over the ocean to hidden gem beaches, and corporate incentive travel — Caribbean all-inclusive group trips for 30 to 200 people, where months of planning come together and I get to watch it all happen on site.
I love the texts and photos my clients send mid-trip, being trusted with bucket-list moments, and seeing a group dinner come alive with laughter and dancing. That's why I do this.
